Sports Conditioning Specialist

The Sports Conditioning Specialist (SCS) is an industry recognized title for coaches and trainers working with athletes at the amateur, collegiate or professional level. The SCS is certified to design sports specific training programs for athletes that will improve power, speed, agility, and overall performance while reducing injury and speeding recovery.

Sports Conditioning Specialist Application Requirements:

  • Must possess a current CFT certification (or) Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Wellness
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • American Heart Association CPR certification (Health Care Provider level) (or) Emergency Medical Technician certification
  • Completed SCS Student Application Form

 

*All Sports Conditioning Specialist students are required to pass a written and practical examination with a cumulative grade of 80% or greater.
